A Trip to Paradise!

Hi everyone! This is my winter break photos from a night when I had dinner off the eighteenth hole. I  was wearing a Lilly Pulitzer searsucker dress because who doesn't love searsucker? I also could not be on vacation without my white Jack Rodger sandals, so they without a dought are my favorite summer shoes.

I chose to post the last photo along with all the others becuase it represents the whole meal. My mom would not stop taking photos!!

I had an amazing winter break with so many memories that will last forever.
What was your favorite winter break memory?

Ultimate Christmas Decorations!

Outside:
1. I love it when people line their front door in garland; it is classy, and it is so timeless! (photo from Pinterest)
2. In my house my dad and I put up the garland on each fence and the wrap them with lights. I love it because its so fun to do and look amazing! (Photo from http://www.allisonott.com/)
3. All you really need next is an amazing wreath. I like the plain ones with just a red bow on them! They are so very easy, too! (Photo from http://www.cornercrafters.com/)

Inside:
1. My mom got us each of our family members a needle point stocking when we were born and they are so cute! These are ours in my house!

2. My mom also puts pillows under the tree until December 24 because when we were little my mom put the presents under the tree, and we managed to open every single present!

This is all you really need other then a decorated tree to make your house the best Christmas house on the block!

Hope you enjoyed, do you do anything else to make your house perfect for Christmas?

How to Handle a Crazy Week!

...and not going mad!

We all have those insane, horrid weeks! Here are my top three tips to make sure you do not go 'insane' during these types of weeks!

1. Stay Organized:You need to make sure you stay organized. This is super important because then you can insure you will remember everything. I love to use a assignment notebook/pocket calendar because then not only are all my assignments in one place, but all of my plans are there too! I also like to use sticky notes and put them on my computer; I use this for things I need to do on my computer.

2. Do Not Stress: Be sure not to stress, it will only turn out for the worse, and make you use up energy that you could be using to study. On days that I think I am not going to do very well on a test I do not go to school until the first bell, so I do not half to hear other people stress. I know when ever I do that I do so much better on a test!

3. Have Fun!: Many sources say that people who study so much and 'do not even have time for fun' actual do worse on  test, but make sure you do not have to much fun!

Do you have any good tips for this?

Missing My All-American Summer

Boating off the coast of Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard

An leisurely afternoon bike around Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard

Those long beach days when you read and lay on the beach
 until nightfall without realizing it

My best friend and I having a casual dinner in Nantucket

My sister and I sister on Cape for the day

Looking at the sailboats glide through the water in Nantucket for hours on a Sunday

Meeting Kiel James Patrick and Sarah Vickers at their factory was a big highlight

What was some of your favorite parts of the summer that you miss?

Shopping Tip: Kate Spade Outlets!

I have never gone to the Kate Spade Outlets until a few days ago, and let me just tell you; they are amazing!

Kate Spade is one of my all time favorite brands. It is fun, colorful, and it is just so amazing. Most things in the store were 40% percent off, but all the stuff on sale was amazing stuff from this season. The workers at the store were always there for you if you needed any help. It was the perfect shopping experience. I would tell a friend to go here any time.

AKA you need to go to a Kate Spade Outlet ASAP!

Have you been to any great outlets or sales in the past few months?

Classy Not Trashy: Phones

All people seem to be doing these days is look down at their phones... You want to make sure you are classy with your phones and not trashy. Here are some helpful tips to help you stay classy with you phone:

1. Do not be an addict: Be sure you are not looking at your phone 24/7.
2. Put it away: When you are at any social event it is always better to just put it away, if it is a emergency then be polite and excuse yourself. Go to a bathroom and do what you need to do there.
3. When you do not need it do not use it: You will find it is actual more fun without your phone.
4. Be respectful: If you know someone was not invited to a social gathering do not post pictures; you do not want to make anyone sad. I have been in both sides of this situation, but in any situation it is not fun to see your friends hanging out without you.

I hope you found this helpful! I know I wish I had this when I first got my phone. What do you think?
